Introduction

This function displays a record from a database file. Key_screen This screen allows you to enter the key of the record that you wish to display. To display a record, you must first enter the 'key' fields to identify the record you want. The function will then look for your record, and either display it, or tell you that it cannot find it. If the function already knows the key of the record you wish to display, it will automatically skip the key screen, and display the record directly.

Function Keys

F3=Exit.

Exit the current task. In most cases this will return you to a high level function without displaying all displays encountered in getting to this point.

F4=Prompt.

Display a list of values available to be used in the related field. Place your cursor on the field for which you would like to see a list and press the F4 key.

F5=Reset.

Refreshes the display. In most cases the display will be refreshed to the original values and any keyed information typed after the last enter key will be lost.

HELP=Help.

Display help text for the associated function. Help text for individual fields can be displayed by placing the cursor on the field and then pressing the Help key. Functional help text can be displayed by placing the cursor on the display title line and pressing the Help key.

		Text which describes this price change.

	Facility	Display only
		A unique number assigned by the user identifying a Facility.

	Segment Descr	Display only
		Description for this segment of the price change. The price change can be broken into segments by brand, item number range, page number range, or any other convenient grouping.

	1. Price 1	Display only
		Indicates whether you will key this price or have the system derive it from another price. If you choose to have it derived, indicate in the "derived from" field which price you want it derived from.
		D = Derived
		K = Keyed

	Item Price 1 Derived From	Display only
		If you selected "Keyed/Derived=D", this field indicates the source price from which this price will be derived. Use the number on the left-hand side of the screen to indicate which price you want used.
		7 = Core Price
		8 = Dummy Price
		1 = Item Price 1
		2 = Item Price 2
		3 = Item Price 3
		4 = Item Price 4
		5 = Item Price 5
		6 = Vendor Price

	Item Price 1 Multiplier	Display only

		If desired, enter a quantity here that will be used on all item prices entered for this segment. If you enter a quantity here, you will not be requested to enter a pricing quantity for each item. @LIST 2 = Non-negative

	Item number type	Display only

	Use default item SKU	Display only
		Enter Yes (Y) if you are entering prices for the default SKU of each item. For each item entered, the program will determine the default SKU; you will not be requested to enter an SKU.
		N = No
		Y = Yes

	Change item price class :	Display only
		Enter Yes (Y) if you want to use this vendor price change to also change the item's price class. Otherwise, enter No (N).
		N = No
		Y = Yes

	Change to :	Display only
		Enter a price class code, if you want to use this vendor price change to change the item's price class. If you enter a price class here, but indicate Change Price Class = No, this price class will be used only when adding prices for items which have no price.
