Introduction

This function allows you to enter fields for processing. Detail_screen This screen allows you to enter the values for a number of fields. When you press ENTER the values will be checked. If your entries correct you will be prompted for confimation. When you confirm the fields, the function will be executed.



Function Keys

F1=Help.

Display related help display. By positioning the cursor at a field on the display and pressing help, help narrative will be displayed for that field. By placing the cursor on the title for the display, help narrative related to the entire function will be displayed. Once the any help narrative is displayed you may then enlarge the display by using the F20 key or you may display expanded help narrative by using the F2 key.

F3=Exit.

Exit the current task. In most cases this will return you to a high level function without displaying all displays encountered in getting to this point.

F4=Prompt.

Display a list of values available to be used in the related field. Place your cursor on the field for which you would like to see a list and press the F4 key.

F5=Reset.

Refreshes the display. In most cases the display will be refreshed to the original values and any keyed information typed after the last enter key will be lost.

F12=Cancel.

Return to previous display without performing any action.

HELP=Help.

Display related help display. By positioning the cursor at a field on the display and pressing help, help narrative will be displayed for that field. Variable Definitions

Facility Number

REQUIRED
A unique number assigned by the user identifying a Facility.

Product Status

REQUIRED
The status of a Product.
   A = Active
   D = Discontinued

Product Stocking Type

REQUIRED
Indicates whether a product is normally kept in stock, or normally dealt with another way.
   N = Not Stocked
   R = Ordered As Required
   D = Shipped Direct
   S = Stocked
   U = Unclassified

Stock Keeping Unit

REQUIRED
A code assigned by the user to identify a Stock Keeping Unit. (EA DZ Etc.)

Brand Short Name

REQUIRED
A short brand name to be used on reports and displays where the full name is not desired.

Royalty Class Code

OPTIONAL
Unique code identifying this royalty class.

Product Minimum Sell Qty

OPTIONAL
The mimimum number of unit that can be sold as expressed in the default stock keeping unit.

Product Min Publish Qty 1

OPTIONAL
Minimum quantity to appear on published inventory lists. If this quantity is greater than quantity on hand, this minimum quantity will be published.

Product Min Publish Qty 2

OPTIONAL

Specific vendor location or division which supplied this product.
