Introduction

This function allows you to display the records in a database file.



Positioning function

You may control which records from the file appear on the display by using the 'positioning' fields that appear on the upper part of the screen. When you enter a positioning value, the program will position the display to start with the record that you specify.



Function Keys

F1=Help.

Display related help display. By positioning the cursor at a field on the display and pressing help, help narrative will be displayed for that field. By placing the cursor on the title for the display, help narrative related to the entire function will be displayed. Once the any help narrative is displayed you may then enlarge the display by using the F20 key or you may display expanded help narrative by using the F2 key.

F3=Exit.

Exit the current task. In most cases this will return you to a high level function without displaying all displays encountered in getting to this point.

F4=Prompt.

Display a list of values available to be used in the related field. Place your cursor on the field for which you would like to see a list and press the F4 key.

F5=Reset.

Refreshes the display. In most cases the display will be refreshed to the original values and any keyed information typed after the last enter key will be lost.

F12=Cancel.

Return to previous display without performing any action.

HELP=Help.

Display related help display. By positioning the cursor at a field on the display and pressing help, help narrative will be displayed for that field. By placing the cursor on the title for the display, help narrative related to the entire function will be displayed. Once the any help narrative is displayed you may then enlarge the display by using the F20 key or you may display expanded help narrative by using the F2 key.

Company

Display only
A number identifying a company to the user.

Company Name

Display only
The name of the Company.

Facility

Display only
A unique number assigned by the user identifying a Facility.

Facility Description

Display only
A description of the Facility.

Count Date

Display only
Date of the physical inventory count. The physical count is considered to be the last thing done on this date, so all inventory transactions with this same date will be taken into account when calculating the cutoff quantity.

Text which describes this physical inventory count.

For counting purposes, a physical inventory count is broken into pages, each of which is assigned a page number by the system. If you are working with a user-created page, write the system-assigned page number on the count sheet for reference.

Phys Cnt Item Line Nbr

OPTIONAL
The item's line number on the page.

Find Mfg Item Nbr

OPTIONAL
Manufacturer's part number for the item.

or Product Code

OPTIONAL
A code assigned by the user to identify a Product.

or Bin

OPTIONAL
A code indicating the Bin in which Product is stored.

Page

Display only

Ln

Display only
The item's line number on the page.

Brand

Display only
The brand short name for the item.

Mfg Item Nbr

Display only
Manufacturer's part number for the item.

Product

Display only
A code assigned by the user to identify a Product.

Bin

Display only
A code indicating the Bin in which Product is stored.

SKU

Display only
A code assigned by the user to identify a Stock Keeping Unit. (EA DZ Etc.)

Count Qty

Display only
The quantity of this item which is actually found during the count. @LIST 2 = Positive

Adjust Qty

Display only
The quantity by which the item's quantity on hand has been adjusted, to bring it into balance with the physical count.
